Delaware Tribe seeks land in Kansas for gaming

The Delaware Tribe of Oklahoma is preparing a land-into-trust application for 78.4 acres in Kansas, according to a press release from The Gillmann Group, the tribe's casino partner.

The Gillmann Group plans to develop and manage the $225 million casino resort. It would be located in Bonner Springs, where Delaware ancestors settled in the 1840s before being removed to Oklahoma.

The Delaware Tribe is also seeking gaming rights in Pennsylvania, its ancestral home.
