Oneida Nation and New York end video gaming lawsuit

The Oneida Nation and the state of New York have ended a lawsuit over video gaming on the reservation.

The suit started in 1995 when then-Gov. George Pataki (R) claimed the use of video gaming machines was illegal. The tribe filed a counterclaim but both sides agreed to drop the case.
