printer friendly
The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma made its first payment of gaming revenues to local governments in Kansas.

The tribe agreed to share a percentage of revenues from its casino in downtown Kansas City with Wyandotte County and Kansas City. The first quarterly payment came to $152,416.24, The Kansas City Star reported.

The 7th Street Casino is located on a half-acre of trust land. The tribe won a series of court rulings that affirmed its right to engage in gaming on the parcel.
