printer friendly
The Coquille Tribe of Oregon is taking steps to minimize the carbon footprint of The Mill Casino Hotel.

The casino is participating in Pacific Power's Blue Sky program. The tribe purchased 750,000 kilowatts of power to support renewable and clean energy projects.

"We consume quite a bit of energy here and it's something we want to do to minimize our impact and footprint," casino communications director Ray Doering told KCBY News.
