Poarch Creeks debut 'Cooking Studio' at casino

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians debuted another amenity at the Wind Creek Casino and Resort in Alabama.

The Cooking Studio offers classes and demonstrations to aspiring chefs. "This is one of the most beautiful facilities I’ve ever been in," said former Top Chef contestant Carla Hall, The Brewton Standard reported.

The casino opened in January. Creek Indian Enterprises President Tim Martin said the tribe now employs 2,200 people.

"Many new jobs have been created as a result of the resort and the amenities offered here," Martin told the paper.
