printer friendly
The Manchester Band of Pomo Indians of California has begun work on a casino despite lack of financing.

The tribe plans an 8,836 square-foot casino with 249 slot machines. The facility could be open by spring 2010.

Other tribes in the area have run into problems with their casino plans. The Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians stopped work on a new casino due to lack of financing.

The Pinoleville Band of Pomo Indians still doesn't have a backer. The Dry Creek Band of Pomo Indians dropped an expansion plan amid the economic downturn.
