Mother of Red Lake survivor suffers stroke

Jodi May, the mother of Jeff May, 15, one of surviving victims of the shootings on the Red Lake Ojibwe Reservation, has suffered a stroke and is in critical condition.

Jodi, a school bus driver, suffered the stroke and heart attack on April 30. Family members say the stress of dealing with the shooting and May's injuries prompted the incident.

Jodi is now being treated at the MeritCare hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, where Jeff was treated. He is still recovering in another MeritCare facility.
