Company removes 'Chippewa' image from video game

The maker of a video game that featured a fan in stereotypical Indian dress has removed the image from the 2006 version of the game.
The image of a "Chippewa" fan in a headdress and face paint was found in the 2005 Electronic Arts Sports NCAA Football game last year. The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe and Central Michigan University, whose nickname is the "Chippewas," objected to the image.
EA Sports released the updated version earlier this month.
