Firm linked to Choctaws said to be under scrutiny

Fresh off the guilty plea from Jack Abramoff, federal investigators are focusing on a second lobbying firm that worked for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, The New York Times reports.
Alexander Strategy Group [
Web Site] is of interest because it was founded by Ed Buckham, a former chief of staff for Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas). The firm employed Tony Rudy, a former DeLay deputy chief of staff who once worked with Abramoff and is referred to as "Staffer A" in Abramoff's guilty plea.
Buckham also ran the U.S. Family Network, a group that took $250,000 from the Choctaws. The group launched a campaign against a tribal casino in Alabama.
