Tribal judge expected to enter plea in drug case

A tribal judge on the Wind River Reservation is expected to enter a plea agreement for her role in a drug trafficking scheme.
Details of Judge Lynda Munnell's plea are not known. She was charged with drug trafficking and threatening to kill a Bureau of Indian Affairs police officer.
Munnell and 18 others were arrested in June 2005 in what federal authorities said was the largest drug bust in the history of the reservation. A family is alleged to have supplied methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana, as well as prescription drugs, in and around the reservation.
The reservation is home to the Eastern Shoshone Tribe and the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
