Still no action on death of Omaha toddler

The Dakota County Attorney says he won't wait any longer to consider charges for the death of a 20-month old Omaha toddler.
Nathaniel Saunsoci-Mitchell died nearly a month ago. He was in foster care in an Indian home off the Omaha Reservation.
County Attorney Edward Matney asked the Nebraska State Patrol and South Sioux City Police Department to give him all the information they have on the case. He said he won't wait until a final report, citing delays by the number of agencies involved.
The foster mother is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota. She has reportedly left Nebraska to return to the Pine Ridge Reservation along with her husband.
The couple's five biological children are temporary wards in Nebraska.
