Jodi Rave wins national fellowship award

Jodi Rave, a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation (Three Affiliated Tribes), is one of the first winners of the Peter Jennings Project for Journalists and the Constitution.

Rave, a reporter for The Missoulian newspaper in Montana, was selected for her essay on the federal-Indian relationship and its origins in the U.S. Constitution. She will write about the relationship for the Lee Enterprises media organization.

The Peter Jennings Project, named for the late news anchor, is a new undertaking of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Rave and the other journalists will meet March 17-19 to discuss their fellowships.
