Senate field hearing on health care on August 15

The Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a field hearing on Indian health on August 15.

The hearing takes place in Crow Agency on the Crow Reservation in Montana. It will be held from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at the Crow Tribe's multi-purpose building.

"This is my highest legislative priority and I am eager to hear from Indian Country about their needs and concerns regarding health care services," Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the chairman of the committee, said in a letter to tribal leaders [PDF].

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Montana) will be present at the hearing.
