Ute Tribe's longtime financial adviser resigns

John Jurrius, the longtime financial adviser for the Ute Tribe of Utah, has resigned.
Jurrius said he could no longer work with new tribal leaders who were elected this spring.
The business committee accepted his resignation at a recent meeting.
Jurrius worked for the tribe for six years, earning a reported $62,500 a year, plus a cut of every deal he negotiated for the tribe.
