Does John Jurrius still work as the financial adviser for the Ute Tribe of Utah?
It sounds like an easy question to answer. But while tribal leaders say he resigned some tribal members say that's not so.
"He did not resign," Gloria Thompson told The Salt Lake Tribune.
Jurrius reportedly threatened to resign, saying he couldn't work with a new slate of tribal leaders. But the tribe's business committee apparently never accepted a written letter.
Jurrius hasn't shown up to work at his offices at the tribe's headquarters, The Tribune said. But he is still connected to the tribe in some way to the tribe's new energy corporation.
