Shakopee Tribe donates $1M to Bad River Band

The Shakopee Mdewakanton Dakota Community of Minnesota has donated $1 million to the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa of Wisconsin.

The Bad River Band will use the money to build a health clinic. The tribe's prior clinic was destroyed by fire.

The Shakopee Tribe has made over $100 million in donations to tribes, Indian organizations and charities.
