The
Senate Indian Affairs Committee is holding a business meeting and oversight hearing this Thursday.
The agenda for the business meeting has not been posted. Typically the committee considers legislation and presidential nominees.
The meeting will be following by an oversight hearing on the federal recognition process. The committee held a
hearing last September on the controversial topic.
The business meeting starts at 9am in Room 562 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.
