Adam Beach to promote Native media ventures

Native actor Adam Beach is setting up a media company in Canada to promote Native films, television and music.

Beach, who wrapped up his season on the popular NBC show Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, plans to produce films by Native filmmakers. He will work with rapper Ice-T, who also starred in the show, to promote Native hip-hop artists.

Additionally, Beach has been named head of the aboriginal division for a new Internet company.
