Sherman Alexie to testify at Seattle Sonics trial
Tuesday, June 10, 2008
Filed Under: Arts & Entertainment | Law | Sports

Author and basketball fan Sherman Alexie can testify at a trial over the future of the Seattle SuperSonics, a federal judge ruled.

Alexis is a season ticket holder. He is being called to testify by the city of Seattle, which is suing the SuperSonics over the team's move to Oklahoma City.

The NBA has given the SuperSonics approval to move. But Seattle claims the team owes two more years in the KeyArena.

The trial is scheduled to begin next Monday, June 16.
