Testimony continues over shooting of Native teen

Testimony continued in the government inquest into the shooting death of Matthew Dumas, a Metis teenager who was from Manitoba.
Dumas, 18, was killed in Winnipeg in January 2005. He was being chased by two police officers, who had considered him a suspect in a robbery.
The officers were cleared of wrongdoing. One of them, Const. Dennis Gburek, testified that he didn't want to shoot Dumas, who was carrying a screwdriver.
Dumas was one of two Metis people who were shot and killed by Winnipeg officers in 2005.
