Beasley Denson, the miko of the
Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, will throw out the first pitch for the
Atlanta Braves on Saturday.
Denson told The Neshoba Democrat will be "practicing" for his debut on the mound. He was a pitcher in his younger days.
The tribe is working with the Braves to promote the tribe's casino, golf course and water park at the Turner Field in Atlanta.
