Notah Begay III is competing in the
AT&T National at Congressional this week, his fourth
PGA tournament of the year.
Begay hasn't won a PGA title in eight years but is making yet another comeback after being sidelined due to multiple injuries. He battled depression and alcohol use along the way.
Throughout the journey, fellow Stanford University graduate Tiger Woods was there to offer support." I mean, he was like a big brother to me when I was on college. ... I'd do anything for that guy," Woods said recently, The Washington Times reported.
The tournament takes place outside of Washington, D.C.
