Wednesday, August 13, 2008

A $90,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the people responsible for a large fire on the Colville Reservation in Washington.

Tribal officials believe someone deliberately set the Columbia River Road Fire on August 12. The fire has consumed 22,000 acres and has threatened homes and structures on the reservation.

The tribe is offering the $90,000 reward, which is expected to be supplemented by an additional rewards of up to $10,000 from the national non-profit organization WeTip.
