Fort Belknap man sentenced for drunk-driving death

A man from the Fort Belknap Reservation in Montana was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison for a drunk-driving death.
Kenneth "Gus" Helgeson, 62, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. His blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit when he wrecked his truck and killed his passenger, Jean LaTray.
Judge Sam Haddon cited Helgeson's past record -- at least 11 DUI convictions -- in imposing a harsher sentence.
