Rosebud Sioux leader to sing national anthem at DNC

Robert Moore, a council member for the
Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, will sing the national anthem at the upcoming
Democratic National
Convention.
Moore, who supports
Sen. Barack Obama
(D-Illinois), will sing on Wednesday, August 27. The DNC called him a "distinguished singer" who has "established himself as a leader among communities in the Great Plains region, where he brings a focus to raising awareness of health disparities."
The convention takes place August 25-28 in Denver.
