Abramoff associate recently bought $2.2M house
Friday, August 22, 2008

Michael Scanlon agreed to pay up to $19.7 million in restitution for his role in the Jack Abramoff scandal but that hasn't stopped him from playing the real estate market in Washington, D.C.

Scanlon pleaded guilty nearly three years ago to defrauding his tribal clients though he has yet to be sentenced for his crime. Since he's been free, he bought a $2.2 million home in the upscale Georgetown area of Washington.

The home is now back on the market, with a $300,000 increase in price, The Washingtonian reports.
