Navajo president to lead rally for Sen. Obama

Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. and other Navajo Nation leaders will rally for Sen. Barack Obama (D-Illinois) on Saturday.

Shirley will speak at the chapter house in Shiprock, New Mexico. Former chairman Peter McDonald, who was pardoned by President Bill Clinton, is also due to attend.

Shirley and other Navajo leaders have endorsed Obama, who opened campaign offices on the reservation.
