The
Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan is cutting down on waste among its employees.
Employees of the
Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort were using more than a million disposable cups a year. But now they are using reusable cups and mugs.
Other tribal departments are now taking similar steps to reduce waste. Recycling has saved 18 tons of trash from landfills.
