Confirmation hearing for Interior pick Salazar

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee holds a confirmation hearing tomorrow for Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colorado), president-elect Barack Obama's nominee for Secretary of the Department of the Interior.

The hearing starts at 9:30am and will be broadcast online. Salazar is the only scheduled witness.

Obama and Salazar mentioned tribes and Native Americans during the December 17, 2008, announcement of the nomination.
