First Nations declare emergency over wildfires

At least four First Nations in Alberta have declared a state of emergency over wildfires that have destroyed homes and forced residents to evacuate.
"It's really bad all over," Carolyn Buffalo, the chief of the Montana Cree Nation, told The Edmonton Sun. "Everyone is still in a bit of a state of shock," she added, noting that no injuries have been reported.
The Alberta First Nations Emergency Management Department and fire agencies from the First Nations have been battling the fires.
