Fast food manager disciplined for racist remark

A fast food manager in Farmington, New Mexico, was disciplined for making a racist remark against Native people.
But Tyrone Lozano won't be fired from his job at
Burger King because it was a "first-time complaint," a member of the city's Community Relations Commissioner said. The commissioner said he spoke to the restaurant's owner about the case.
Julian Yellow Jr., a member of the
Navajo Nation, filed a complaint with the commission. He said he overheard Lozano saying, "I need to let go of the native and start hiring white people."
The commission, in its first ruling, determined that Yellow's complaint was valid.
