Spiritual leaders to discuss Black Hills lawsuit

Spiritual leaders of the Sioux Nation will meet and pray this month to discuss the status of the Black Hills in South Dakota.
The Sioux Nation was awarded $106 million for the loss of the Black Hills. The tribes have refused to accept the money, saying they want to reclaim the land.
Some tribal members have filed a class action lawsuit in hopes of distributing the Black Hills trust fund, saying the return of any land is impossible. The account has grown to about $900 million.
The spiritual leaders will meet July 26 and 27 to discuss the issue. "That will direct us how to go," A. Gay Kingman, the executive director of the Great Plains Tribal Chairman's Association, told the Associated Press.
