Oneida Nation hopes to turn trash into power

The
Oneida Nation of Wisconsin is in the early stages of a renewable energy project.
The tribe wants to convert garbage into electricity. The project would involve building a facility on tribal land to accept waste, potentially from a nearby transfer station.
"We're early in the process and are probably six to nine months away," Pete King of
Oneida Seven Generations Corp. told The Green Bay Press-Gazette.
