Indian doctor backs Obama on health reform

Dr. Biron Baker, a member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota, is at the White House today to support President Barack Obama on health care reform.

Baker is a board-certified family physician in North Dakota. He currently works for the Medcenter One in Bismarck and used to work for the Indian Health Service on two reservations in the state.

Baker and fellow colleagues are with Obama to push for health insurance reform. The White House says doctors can provide real-world examples of the need for affordable coverage.

The event takes place at 11:10am and can be viewed at www.whitehouse.gov/live.
