Navajo Code Talkers walk in Veterans Day parade

A group of
Navajo Code Talkers will walk in the
Veterans Day parade in New York City on Wednesday.
Keith Little, 85, and Samuel Tom Holiday, 85, are among the 13 Code Talkers who are taking part in the parade. It's the first time the group has walked.
While in New York City, the Code Talkers will visit Ground Zero and the USS Intrepid, a World War II aircraft carrier. They want to raise awareness of the museum they are planning in Arizona.
Over 400 members of the
Navajo Nation served as Code Talkers during WWII. Only about 50 are believed to still alive. This past year alone, five have died.
