Aquash murder defendant asks to exclude testimony

Aquash says another man who was already convicted of the crime should not be allowed to testify.
Richard
Marshall, a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, says Arlo Looking Cloud intends to provide false testimony. Looking Cloud will try to say he was wrongly convicted of Aquash's murder in December 1975, according to Marshall's attorney.
“It is evident from these conversations that Looking Cloud intends to falsely testify that he had no criminal intent to help murder Aquash and that he was innocent of the murder for which he was convicted," Marshall's attorney said in a motion.
The federal government intends to call Looking Cloud, also Oglala Sioux, as its key witness against Marshall.
