Baby killed in dog attack on Iowa land was 8 months old

Authorities identified the infant who was killed after being attacked by a dog on Iowa Tribe land in Oklahoma as Justin Lopez.

Lopez was 8 months old, The Oklahoman reported. The state medical examiner said he died of blunt force trauma to the head.

An Oklahoma television station previously said the victim was a baby girl.

The tribe has declined to comment.
