Cheyenne-Arapaho man leads Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation

Harvey Pratt, a member of the
Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, has been named interim director of the
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Pratt, 69, is a widely-recognized forensic artist. He has spent over 42 years in law enforcement.
"I love this agency. I love the employees,” Pratt told The Oklahoman. "I think that I can hold a balance and move things forward and try to resolve some issues that have come up recently.”
Pratt, a Vietnam veteran, is also an award-winning artist. He has been named a traditional peace chief of the Southern Cheyenne people.
