Kickapoo Reservation facing severe drought

The only source of water for the Kickapoo Reservation in Kansas has stopped flowing, The Topeka Capital-Journal reports.
The Upper Delaware River has fallen below acceptable water levels.
If the water runs the tribe says it needs
about $700,000 a month to pay for a water delivery service.
The tribe is asking the Federal Emergency Management Agency and
the Bureau of Indian Affairs for help.
Water conditions on the reservation have been poor for at least three years.
