Schwarzenegger to tribes: You've got voicemail

Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the leading Republican in California's recall election, is trying to meet with several tribes, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reports.
The Tribal Alliance of Sovereign Indian Nations, which represents 13 tribes, asked Schwarzenegger to speak to their group.
He left a "lengthy voice-mail message" for Lynn Valbuena, a San Manuel
tribal member, to accept but hasn't called back.
"I know that he's been real busy with a lot of meetings and things," Valburna told the paper. "We're open. We're just waiting for a date from him."
Schwarzenegger's camp has also been playing phone tag with the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.
Chairman Richard Milanovich wants a meeting and says he is upset with Schwarzenegger's characterization of tribes as "special interests" that he won't accept money from.
"To be grouped into a category of a special interest is demeaning and derogatory to tribes as a whole," Milanovich told the paper.
