Pechanga Chairman: Arnold ad 'an act of desperation

A new ad by Republican candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger is an "act of desperation," a prominent California tribal leader said.
"An ad of this sort is an act of desperation by Arnold and it's clearly being orchestrated by Pete Wilson and his cohorts from his days as governor. It smacks of the politics of evil that were indicative of Pete Wilson," said Mark Macarro, chairman of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians.
In the ad, Schwarzenegger says gaming tribes make billions but contribute almost nothing to the state.
"I think it's going to outrage the Indians," said Bruce Cain, a political scientist at the University of California, Berkeley.
